Roots Marlborough Dry Gin

A crisp and robust ‘London Dry’ style gin. Batch distilled in a boutique 200L copper pot still after a 24 hour activated maceration in a sustainable neutral base spirit. Bottled at a bold 45% alcohol by volume.

Produced entirely by our own hands, on estate in the heart of the Marlborough wine region.

A juniper forward palate followed by a fresh grapefruit and hop zest balanced against a highly aromatic kawakawa and gorse nose.

Finishing long and clean with a slightly silky mouthfeel and lingering coriander seed note.

Roots Norwester Navy Strength Dry Grin

A Navy Strength (54.5%) bottling of Roots Marlborough Dry Gin with the addition of organic Akaroa giant kelp and Hawke’s Bay hemp seed. Named after the strong Norwest winds of the south Pacific.

Produced on estate at the Elemental Distillery and gunpowder proofed for authenticity.

Roots Rosso Pinot Noir Gin

Balancing a unique expression of Roots Marlborough Dry Gin with an organic Marlborough pinot noir wine, harvested from biodynamically certified grapes.

As a base, we’ve distilled a classic juniper forward London Dry gin supported by signature Roots botanicals of juniper, coriander, grapefruit, hops and native kawakawa alongside the aromatic angelica and orris roots.

    Produced on site at our very own bespoke container distillery, we dehydrate, macerate, distill and bottle entirely in house, giving us complete quality control on everything we produce.

    Each run is batch distilled in our small 200L copper pot still named ‘Fanni Chanel’. A truly boutique operation where every process and principle is controlled by batch and by our own hands.
